Agritech Yanmar

Pioneer in the development of agricultural machinery in the country.

Over the years the stories of Yanmar do Brasil and Lavrale Máquinas Agrícolas merged, giving rise to Agritech Lavrale However, most rural properties throughout Brazil did not have electricity when these stories began.

Yanmar do Brasil installed its factory in the city of Indaiatuba (SP) in 1960, three years after starting operations in the country. And it was exactly the condition of the country, rural and still undeveloped, that allowed the company to find a great opportunity in this sector of the economy. For more than two decades Yanmar do Brasil supplied energy through its small diesel engines to many rural properties, but it was in 1973 that the company began to explore its true vocation with the production of the company's first microtractor in Brazil.

Lavrale started its operations in 1969, shortly thereafter, in Caxias do Sul (RS). The company was created with the objective of developing solutions for rural people through the manufacture of agricultural implements for small tractors.

But it was in 2001 that the forces of the two companies came together. After a split in the operations of Yanmar do Brasil, in which the engine and nautical divisions from the tractors division occurred, Lavrale, a company belonging to the Group

Stédile, bought the tractor division, which a few months earlier had been called Yanmar Indaiatuba. This gave rise to the Agritech Lavrale tractor factory, which was renamed to the Agritech Division.

The evolution of the machines developed by Agritech has been constant, since the times when they were produced by Yanmar. The first 4-wheel tractors produced were the 1040 and 1050, in 1987. Today, with much more technology and operational facilities, they are far removed from the models that started the production line at the tractor factory located in Indaiatuba, but continue to use the the same formula that gave the company its biggest differential: the production of machines with customized versions for each culture.

The awards won over time by Agritech are concrete proof of this evolution. The largest award in South America for the agricultural machinery and equipment sector, the Gerdau Melhores da Terra Award, recognized the qualities of the products developed by Agritech five times.

Agritech Lavrale – Agritech Division is part of the Stédile Group, from Caxias do Sul (RS). One of the most respected industrial conglomerates in Brazil that includes the companies Agrale, Germani Alimentos, Fazenda Três Rios, Fundituba Indústria Metalúrgica.
